David McGoodwin, Partner - President:
Mr. McGoodwin has almost 30 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry from both a factory and manufacturers representative level. David was employed by companies such as Can-Tex Industries and Davis Industries from the factory side, and over 20 years with Newman Company and Municipal Valve & Equipment as a local representative. He possesses a B.S. degree in Microbiology with Chemistry minor from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX
Randy Greene, Partner- Secretary/Treasurer:
Mr. Greene brings 20 years of experience in the municipal market both from a large valve manufacturer (American Darling 1985 - 1990) and as a representative in the Oklahoma and Texas areas with both Newman Company and MVE. Mr. Greene is very familiar with all areas of this industry from the consulting Engineers to supply houses and end-users. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering.
Kim Butterfield, Accounts Payable/ Inside Sales/ Project Manager:
Kim joined MVE in June of 1995 as a receptionist/bookkeeper. She soon progressed to inside sales and project management. She is also in charge of Accounts Payables as well as maintaining the everyday workings of the office.
Alexis LaMaster, Accounts Receivable / Project Manager:
Alexis joined MVE in 1999 as a receptionist and file clerk but quickly proved she was capable of more extensive duties. She handles the accounts receivables and collections as well as project management and inside sales.
Jim Anderson, Estimator/ Project Coordinator/ Project Manager:
Jim joined Municipal Valve in January of 2005 with over 20 years experience as a General Contractor. Jim was with Cajun Contractors for over 13 years and ended his career there as Dallas Area Manager. He brings the knowledge of both fabrication and general construction that enables him to converse with our customers on a level which they are able to more clearly understand, thus making our offerings more accurate and comprehensive.
Jim Buckner, Houston Office Manager:
Mr. Buckner started with MVE in March 1995 after working for Keystone Valve USA for over 15 years in various capacities. He most recently was the Western Regional Sales Manager. He has extensive knowledge in the workings of the industry from manufacturing, to Consulting Engineering level, to the end-users. Mr. Buckner received his B.A degree in Agriculture Business in 1980 from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
John Valley, Outside Sales Austin/Wimberly Sales Manager:
John started with MVE in March of 2003 after working with a similar sales company in the North Texas Area. He has extensive knowledge in the workings of the industry from manufacturing, to Consulting Engineering level, to the end-users. John works with both engineers and contractors in the South Texas and lower valley area. John holds both an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Broome Community College in Binghamton, New York and B.S. Degree in Business Management with a concentration in accounting from The State University of New York at Binghamton
Patricia Galey, Houston Office:
Patricia took over as assistant of Jim Buckner in the Houston office in 2005. She coordinates all the sales efforts from the Houston office back to the Dallas office as well as helping out with producing project submittal drawings and O&M manuals.
Philip Knighton, Estimator:
Philip was trained by the Lead Estimator for Hughes Supply Plant Division in 2004. He was quickly promoted to Texas Regional Plant Estimator with Hughes. He joined the staff at Municipal Valve & Equipment in July 2008 as our Plant Estimator.
